Where do legends begin?
The BSO explores epic mythology as we end our 53rd season with Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade will add to the mystique; Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream Overture introduces an element of high fantasy to the program. The premiere of Antonio Medellín Fajardo’s Mar de recuerdos (Sea of Memories) rounds out this evocative, legendary performance.
Your ticket includes a 4:00 pre-concert conversation and Q&A with Drs. Alexis Witt and Alejandro Gómez Guillén.
